Iris Lamanna returns to CCCC as interim Artistic Director

Contra Costa Children’s Chorus is pleased to announce that Co-founder and Artistic Director, Iris Lamanna, will join us as interim Artistic Director for the Spring semester, directing Levels 3 and 4.

Andrew Brown has accepted a full time teaching position at the new Contra Costa School of Performing Arts in Walnut Creek. We wish him well in his new endeavor.

Iris has chosen some favorite selections from past performances including Feelin’ Good and is excited to put together a Drum, singing and dance Workshop featuring African music which will be incorporated into the spring concert.

We are currently holding placements interviews for the coming semester. If you are interested, go to the “Join Us” page and fill out the registration form.

Please watch for information on the Spring Concert and contact us at frontdesk@childrenschorus.org with any questions.

2016 Shop With Script Fundraiser

ShopWithScrip fundraising is a no-selling program that allows families to raise money for CCCC. Scrip is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards. You purchase gift cards from CCCC at face value, and your coordinator orders those cards from ShopwithScrip at a reduced price. The difference is an instant rebate for CCCC.

When you use scrip gift cards at your favorite retailers, you’re fundraising while you shop. ShopWithScrip offers over 300 of the country’s biggest brands, including grocery, department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, home improvement, and more. Just by using scrip to pay for your normal weekly purchases, you can easily raise $500 or more per year. You don’t have to purchase anything you don’t need.

By simply planning ahead on everyday purchases, the average family can earn at least $11 a week. That modest number adds up quickly. It’s easy for a family to earn $500 – $1,000 in a year, and many families earn much more! The more families participating, the bigger the earnings for CCCC.
